Software Engineering Team Leader - Superb working env & benefits
Team Leader with excellent software engineering skills and a background in C++, required for leading software company in Oxfordshire. You must have a familiarity with the product development lifecycle and software development tools and approaches, and experience of leading software development projects. Your Management skills must include strong leadership and team building skills, and the ability to motivate others, coach and develop others and identify their training requirements, delegate, and resolve conflicts. Your Personal skills should include creativity and self-motivation, and the ability to demonstrate initiative and exercise judgement, make effective decisions and take responsibility for them, organise and prioritise, and focus on results. You should also demonstrate a willingness to adapt to change and accept levels of risk and uncertainty, and an awareness of the impact of own behaviour on others and adaptation of that to be effective with different people. The main responsibility if the position is to supervise the development of cross-platform software in C++, acting as Line Manager to a team of 6-10 people. This is NOT a hands on development position.
